This policy explains what personal information ASMO Visuals collects through this website, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.

What we collect

When you send an enquiry through the contact form: your name, email address, company, the services you're interested in, budget, timeline, your message, and the page you sent it from.

When you join our newsletter: your email address and the page you signed up on.

When you visit any page: our hosting provider automatically records technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to deliver the site and keep it secure.

Peace of mind

We don't use advertising or analytics cookies, and we don't track you across other websites.

Why we use it

• Enquiries: to reply to you and discuss a possible project. Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us.
• Newsletter: to send you studio news, roughly once a month. Our lawful basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
• Technical data: to run the website securely. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in keeping the site working and protected.

Who we share it with

We don't sell your information. It is stored with Google Cloud (Firebase), which hosts this website and its database for us under a data processing agreement. Our database is located in London. Google may process some data outside the UK, protected by the UK's approved safeguards for international transfers.

How long we keep it

• Enquiries: up to two years after our last conversation, unless you become a client, in which case we keep project records for as long as the law requires.
• Newsletter sign-ups: until you unsubscribe.
• Hosting logs: kept by our hosting provider for a limited period, usually no more than a few months.

Storage on your device

The website stores a small note in your browser for the current visit so that it can load the newest version of a page after we update the site. It contains no personal information and is cleared when you close the tab.

Your rights

You can ask us to give you a copy of your information, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or move it to another provider. You can withdraw newsletter consent at any time by emailing hello@asmovisuals.com. We'll reply within one month.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, please tell us first. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or 0303 123 1113.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update it here and change the date at the top.
